Union County District Attorney Michael Parker said he will withhold any decisions on allegations of felonies by his former boss until he reviews the case.

I'd like to say something basically that: We're showing the term here as part of accurately presenting historic documents from their time, and I believe history should be shown as it was, even if ugly; the AP would change and modernize their language, and replaced "retarded"; I personally support inclusive, progressive, and less-pejorative language evolution in general.
